Kentmere Hydro Trust

• The objects of the Charity are all purposes which are charitable under the laws of England and Wales from time to time including but without limitation:

• to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the general physical and natural environment and in particular by promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency projects;

• to advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment;

• to advance the conservation, protection and improvement of land, buildings or other structures and artifacts of particular historic, architectural, archaeological or other cultural significance;

• and such that (but without prejudice to their generality), when considering activities in pursuance of all the above objects, preference shall be given to those of the Parish of Kentmere and nearby Lake District communities.

Kentmere Hydro CIC

• The objects of the company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to trade as a hydro electric generator and to distribute surplus profit to the members.
